Japanese aluminum profile technology began in the late 70s and has since evolved into high-tech prefab systems capable of incorporating wood-grain laminations. Japanese engineers not only achieved the look and color of wood but also devised a technique to create surface profiling that replicates 3-dimensional wood grain.

Exterior Building Profiles and Fence
Aluminum profiles are a great option for upgrading the exterior of a building. Beautiful wood-look treatment can also be extended to gates and fences to match.
The aluminum color is achieved through anodization, which burns the color into the metal. After the standard anodization and coating process is complete, the profiles can then be wrapped with a laminate to achieve a wood look. Wood-look Gates, WM and MSH. Wood-look Fence WF and SHR.
Not all Laminates are Equal
Japanese wood-tone laminates are produced using the traditional technique of “Uzukuri” which is an ancient Japanese woodworking technique that delicately polishes the surface of the wood to highlight the growth rings of the wood. The unevenness of the wood grain is emphasized, and the appearance changes depending on the light. The unevenness of the raised wood surface is realistically reproduced.
