De-mountable Winged Carport

When property setback rules prevent a post near the property line, a winged carport with posts only in the middle can be effective. If the cantilever option still isn't sufficient, a removable carport can be constructed. This setup illustrates such an option. Stiffeners inside the posts are lag-bolted to the post profiles (sleeved), allowing the carport to be removed from its footings if necessary.

A winged carport consists of two cantilever carports joined together with the posts sharing the footings in the middle of the covered parking spaces. Because our Japanese aluminum carports are all part of pre-fabricated systems, there are specific connections and covers available to make such a port rainproof.
