Japanese aluminum outdoor products, such as carports, patio covers, gates, and fences, are all finished with anodized and coded aluminum profiles. The colors are practically baked into the metal and do not need repainting. However, every aluminum profile will still have a metal feel, and sometimes a house asks for a more natural look. To achieve a traditional wood look, Japanese engineers have developed wood laminates that are applied on top of the anodized profiles. These wood-look laminates not only represent the color of wood, but are also designed to replicate the three-dimensional woodgrain.
