Tall ROMC#3 Gate in Silver

This 6 foot tall single panel aluminum gate secures an entrance area. It swings open outward for convenience. The space was too narrow for a double gate, and our widest panel (1100mm/~43”,) didn't quite make it. Note the spacer on the right side, it closes up the extra space.

This gate is from the commercial-grade aluminum gate system ROMC, and the panel style is #3. See all the different styles with the ROMC Info-PDF. While most Japanese aluminum garden gates have a closed frame at the top, the ROMC Gate series features what we call “open pickets.” The individual aluminum gate panel profiles are attached sideways to the frames, allowing the pickets to stick out. Why, you ask, would anyone want this? Three reasons. First, it's a more secure gate because climbing these pickets will be very uncomfortable. Second, these pickets will let water wick off for better corrosion protection. Third, it’s a great look.
