New + Improved USN
Extra large luxury carport can span 39 feet, allows the existing garage doors to stay accessible and features a gorgeous canopy open to the sky.
Every year, the manufacturer Sankyo Tateyama, Inc picks several products in the vast line products to improve upon. The U-style just recently has gone through this process. This is the new USN. What’s different? Take a look at the roof panels. Through the power of engineering, the purlins that support the roof panels from below have been eliminated to NOW reveal clean and beautiful panels uninterrupted by the little metal supports.
U-Style Double-Carport
Aluminum Japanese style carport has traditional shape, straight roofline and four posts
Many garage spaces are used for storage and cars are being left outside. This U-style carport sits right in front of a double garage door covering two cars without obstructing the garage doors.
U-Style Cantilever Port
Carport with strong, aluminum beams, covers one car with only two posts on one side.
U-style can also create a single carport that cantilevers. This is an older version, and the curved roof shape has been discontinued for this carport series. Instead of a traditional, flat carport roof, this structure can also carry a pergola with or without wood laminate.
Triple CarPort + Side Wall
Large Japanese carport covers three cars.
The main feature of the U-Style carport series is the large load bearing beams. They can stretch out to almost 40 feet to cover four cars without any posts in the middle. Here you see a three car port, with a polycarbonate side panel wall on the left.
Carport with Recessed Beam
Japanese aluminum carport for two cars has recessed post to make it easy to turn out of the space
This is an older version of the U-style, still sporting the curved roof units. The new U-style has flat roof units, but it can still cantilever out its roof on the front by recessing the bearing beam. This provides for easy access and egress.
3 Car Carport - Custom Fit
Japanese carport in front of garage covers three cars to the max
Most Japanese style carports can be fitted to a specific size. Not so with the U-Style roof units. Because they are a system in itself, they are difficult to shorten. Here a customer custom fitted gutter connectors so he could push the three roof units apart as wide as his space allowed.
