Hot-tub Enclosure

There are not many things more fun than sitting in a hot tub at -20°F Fahrenheit - as long as it is, enclosed and protected from the cold wind.

The view of the neighboring home has been obscured by the frosted polycarbonate panels in the side walls.

Frosted roof and sidewall panels come standard. Additionally, a custom-fitted small side panel was added to ensure complete privacy in the tub.

The side panels on the side toward the yard and the Mississippi River have a clear, lightly tinted panel that harmonizes with the home's red brick. These wind-breaking panels will be removed in the summertime and reinstalled when winter returns in the fall.

This exterior view shows how the gutter profile has been connected to the side panels on the left side, and the enclosure is completely sealed against the weather. Although we had options to close the other side as well, we decided we prefer a little bit of open air to remain.

The gutter downspout is routed down on the inside and leads to the outside in the back.
