Large Patio Cover Roof
This aluminum outdoor cover projects 15 feet and is 30 feet wide. A large outdoor cover like this one needs several posts to support the front end. In this case, we have ordered the patio roof with post-spacing in mind to avoid having a post right in the middle of the beautiful ocean view from the living room.
No individual aluminum profile can be longer than 19 feet. For the stretch of 30 feet in this patio cover, we placed the longest front/gutter-beam in the middle, which allowed us to move the standard middle post out of the way to the right. On the left-hand side, we were able to attach the cover to the home and thereby eliminated a fourth post.
