Outward Opening

Whenever a gate guards a pool, it must have outward-opening hinges. An additional aluminum connector, attached to the backside of the post, enables the gate panel hinge to extend to the front. Another essential requirement for a pool gate is an automatic closing system. This can be achieved through a simple spring mechanism or, as in this example, a hydraulic closer installed on the bottom hinge.
