Reversed Slope Carport

Cover for two cars, one after the other, on the side of the house. This Japanese carport protects the cars and also keeps the heat down in the house. The heat-cutting roof panels block 83% of heat while still letting in light, so the rooms in the house won’t be too dark. This carport features a reverse roof slope, which creates better shade. Most of our Japanese aluminum carport systems slope towards the side posts. The MLR carport forms the roof slope using risers. These risers can be positioned to slope towards the posts or towards the outside edge of the cantilever carport, as you see in the above pictured project.
