There are over 20 different Japanese aluminum carport styles. Seven of them have a cantilever version to cover a single vehicle. Up to a projection of 10 feet, only two posts are necessary. To increase the covered space to 11 feet out, a third post is added as seen here. This project is also a great example of how the LJ port, sloping from back to front, presents a straight roof line when viewed from the front. LJ 58.33
