Hurricane anchors ensure carports withstand strong winds.

Japanese cantilever carports feature hurricane anchors that rest on posts using specialized brackets and can be quickly deployed during high wind alerts. Each anchor locks into position with a simple click-and-turn mechanism at brackets attached to the roof beams. The anchor profile then telescopes out to connect with a ground-mounted floor bracket, installed in its own concrete footing (one per post). No extra reinforcement is required, and installation takes less than a minute per anchor.
