Fence with Style

Japan has been developing beautiful aluminum fences for decades. The prefabricated systems allow different fence families to be combined and matched with beautiful garden and driveway gates. Open pickets, fully private fence panels, and many other modern fence designs are available in beautiful anodized colors that never need repainting. See the Fence styles from Japan.

Top Quality Fabrication

Each fence panel is made of aluminum alloy profiles that are meticulously extracted, straightened, cleaned, and anodized before a protective coating is applied. The colors are created by the anodization process. The longer a profile remains in the acidic bath, the darker the color. The manufacturer, Sankyo Tateyama Inc. (STP), has maintained a consistent color palette for decades, matching colors for fences, gates, carports, and/or patio covers. See the colors in our Fence Gallery.

The Quality is in the Details

Because an aluminum fence does not contain iron, it cannot rust. The only enemy of aluminum is corrosion. Corrosion occurs only when moisture reaches the raw metal. The Japanese aluminum fence demonstrates why it is the best fencing material available today. Japanese engineers have developed fence systems in which every possible cut or connection is covered with specific caps and internal connectors. Pickets are suspended so water can wick off. For a good example, see this Pool Fence. These hi-tech fences require no maintenance and never need re-painting.

Easy to Install

When you order a fence from Japan, you receive a complete fence kit with everything needed for installation. Holes are pre-drilled, and screws are provided. After you set the posts in the right locations, assembly is super easy. Every panel is 2 meters / 6.5' wide and comes in heights ranging from 2' to 6'. Panels can be seamlessly connected and stacked to a height of 10'. See details on Stacking Fences.

Flexible on Site

All profiles are screwed together rather than welded, making it easy to shorten any part to fit the site. Because each panel is complete in its own frame, it can be installed sideways with optional angle brackets, as shown in the two examples above. On the left, we see the beautiful WF style (here presented vertically) with polycarbonate inserts between the aluminum profiles, and on the right, a horizontal pattern with a wood-laminate, turned on its side to fill small gaps in a wall.
