Modern Horizontal Fence

The horizontal fence panel style is popular with modern architecture. Because the Japanese aluminum fence panels are not welded but screwed together, they can be fitted in between pre-existing CMU columns. None of these spaces were larger than 6 1/2 feet, so one panel per space sufficed. The panels were surface-mounted sideways to the concrete pillars, thereby eliminating any posts.
