Extra-Slanted Cover

The typical Japanese patio cover roof has about a 7% slope. This slope can be increased by attaching the front end to a bearing beam, like the one in this project. Two clips attach each rafter to the top of the bearing beam, which is rounded and can accommodate a steeper slope. Explore the Bearing Beam covers.
