Enclose Hottub
This hot tub enclosure is located in Minnesota, where are the winter lasts most of the year. Because temperatures can go as low as 30° below, t is essential to enclose the sides to the point where the wind cannot freeze the condensation drops.
When you can block out the wind, even freezing temperatures won't prevent you from enjoying your hot tub, which is a wonderful experience during the cold winter months.
Frosted polycarbonate roof panels are also employed for the side panels towards the neighboring house. They provide privacy day and night. A small custom-fitted panel on the right side does the same.
On the left side, we have installed side panels with clear polycarbonate panels to retain the view towards the backyard and the Mississippi River. Those panels will be removed in the summertime.
The privacy panels facing the neighbor's house extend all the way to the ground. The lowest side panel needed only half of the polycarbonate sheets, so we could use the two remaining square pieces to create a little extra side panel. See below.
Here, you see this little custom-made side panel on the right hand side.
The entrance cover on the left has already saved the stairs from icing over last year. Now we have added an additional roof in the middle to connect to the hot tub cover, so we can go from the entry door to the hot tub under roof.
Here you can see all three outdoor covers from the back of the hot tub.
