PJW Carwash Cover

This is a car wash area for a rental car company. A Japanese aluminum carport is an easy and cost-effective way to shelter workers and vehicles.

This outdoor cover is made with a carport from the PJ Series, the most popular Japanese pre-fabricated car cover. In this project, you see a 19-foot-deep double carport with a 4-foot extension, bringing the overall length to about 23 feet.

The widest a double carport can be is about 20 feet. That is the longest a prefabricated aluminum profile can be. The PJ carport series from Japan also features a triple carport that can reach about 26 feet. In this case, two profiles have to be connected into one. Here is an example.
