Driveway Folding Gate

These site photos show the latest version of the CHG folding gate. Here, you see a wide double gate in style #2 closing a driveway about 22 feet wide. This gate has a steel guide track on the ground for easy operation and added wind resistance. It also has pet guards at the bottom to keep small animals from getting out and other critters from coming in. Pet guards are aluminum slats added to the bottom of the gate. CHG#1-68W-H12_+Pet

Our aluminum folding driveway gates from Japan are very easy to operate. The bifold gate folds to the sides into a neat stack. The steel track on the ground stops short on the side, allowing the gate panel stack to be turned out and around the post to completely clear the driveway.

There are other Japanese folding gates available, most famous of which are the Japanese accordion driveway gates and the multiple-panel gates that come from the residential garden gate series MCE-Gates.

What makes the CHG bifold gate special is that it reveals almost straight aluminum gate panels in the closed position, as opposed to the accordion-type gears of an accordion-type gate.
