Secure Accordion Gate

The main purpose of this small space folding gate from Japan is to keep pets and children inside. The customer chose surface mounting brackets for the posts, which allowed installation without breaking the concrete slab.

A typical Japanese accordion gate will roll on casters. That is the most common type. Because of this, the weight of the gate is transferred to the floor by those wheels, and the posts are not needed to carry weight but only to keep the gate in position. This allows us to surface-mount the posts using the specific surface-mounting brackets we can provide. This has the benefit that footings don't have to be dug if there's already a good slab to attach to.
